Dolling in Teams was created in 2002 by Baranandúên and Fredegund, as an incetive for dollers to work with each other and get to meet other dollers. Unlike other contests, the emphasis is heavier on cooperation than on competition, as dollers have to overcome the obstacles associated with doing a collaborative work: finding a team, deciding on a concept, splitting labor, adapting to different dolling styles and techniques, and of course, effective communication.

In the past, dollers have become friends and even sisters through Dolling in Teams, and have produced some of the most amazing doll scenes on the web.
